The word "Kindful" signifies the joining of mindfulness with kindness. In other words, a Kindful Teen is one who has learned how to observe themselves (body, mind, emotions) with kindness and self-compassion. Our goal is to create Kindful Teens who are self-aware, self-compassionate, self-confident, and resilient, and who have the tools to manage stress and difficult emotions, improve decision making, and develop healthy relationships.
Through the yoga and mindfulness curriculum it delivers in schools and community centers, Kindfulteens can be one of the critical sources for support for adolescents.
